COVID-19 UPDATE
As the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak continues to be felt, we wanted to
update you on the measures we are taking here at Prab Boparai Opticians.
The health of our team and our patients has always been our number one priority.
We have been following government advice and NHS guidelines on how to approach this current situation.
To ensure we continue to function and support you for as long as possible through these unprecedented times, we are now offering essential or emergency eyecare services only, until further notice.
We apologise in advance if we may have to cancel or rearrange your appointments.
Please be assured, that as a healthcare provider, we already uphold the most stringent hygiene and cleaning regimes. We are however implementing many extra infection control measures to try and limit any cross-contamination and outbreak. All equipment used is disinfected before and after patients have their eyes examined. As usual, our staff wash their hands between patients and we also ask patients to wash hands or use the alcohol gel provided.
If you are feeling unwell and show any symptoms, please let us know well in advance.
The government has advised that if you have any new onset of a cough or fever, it is imperative that you self isolate for a minimum of 14 days.
Please also inform us if you have been in contact with anyone with these symptoms or have recently travelled abroad within the last two weeks.
We have a responsibility to protect all of our patients so this is vital information.
We request you to follow our guidelines in practice.
